Viviana is an Italian-Canadian artist based in Berlin, Germany. She paints, draws and photographs the tension between nature and cities, northern lights and southern sunsets, the Canadian wilderness and the Mediterranean shrubland. Viviana works with blurred contours and large strokes to evoke oneiric imagery.
With a classic background in Literature, she continues to study Fine Art at the Freie Kunstakademie Frankfurt and Illustration at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She illustrated a multilingual children's book with the support of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, and is currently working on her first graphic novel "CANVAS" on love, exile and freedom.
