I'm a surface pattern designer living in Birmingham, UK. I use a range of handmade processes to make my work - drawing, painting, collage and printmaking (all very low-tech with the focus on mark-making). The initial works are then taken into Photoshop where I continue to work in an experimental manner, allowing happy accidents to occur.
I have been lucky enough to work for and collaborate with some global companies that appreciate my style and allow me to push myself in terms of colour, shape and pattern, including Anthropologie, Lush Handmade Cosmetics, Haagen Dazs and 3M.
My latest venture is Maybee Upholstery - a collaboration with a good friend, putting my designs onto furniture using her upholstery skills.
