3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Based on Martin McDonagh's '3 Billboards...' movie. Frances McDormand as Mildred Hayes is a woman on fire with rage and grief. I loved the shots where she was driving and her eyes were caught in the narrow rectangle of the rear view mirror, so that's the grain of the concept behind this.

Cat Finnie is a freelance illustrator based in east London, UK. Working in a concept driven, contemporary digital style, Cat's aim is to bring an element of the surreal, a dreamlike quality to her illustrations. She is interested in creating ambiguity in an image, opening the possibilities for alternative interpretation.

Isle of Dogs

Based on Wes Anderson's 'Isle of Dogs.' I wanted to capture the moment of arrival at the garbage island where the boy is searching for his dog.

Annihilation

Made in response to Alex Garland's film 'Annihilation.' I wanted to capture the psychedelia of the movie, showing the moment when the main character encounters the alien/unknown entity. I absolutely loved the scene where the lead character and the alien mirror one another and wanted to both capture the sense of disorientation and hint at the theme of doubles/twins that runs through the film.
