Irene Tangsereesuksan is my full name, but you can call me “Irene”. I am a Thai illustrator and a founder of "Me Now Illustration" since 2015. I was born and raised in Bangkok, but in the past few years I have lived in Germany due to my master’s study. I have never been in any art school and my major has nothing to do with illustration or painting. However, I love drawing since I can remember things. It’s been a long journey since then until I discovered my illustration style.
Most of my work is created by hand drawing and watercolor, presenting food and lifestyle. However, making food illustrations is my big cup of tea!
The name “Me Now Illustration” indeed came from Thai words. In Thai, you can say "Me Now" or "Mee Naw" which means "The bear feels cold”. Actually, I also enjoy drawing animals with a scarf and drawing a bear was the very first steps of my illustration journey, that's why he appears on my logo.
