"My Dream House" is an ideal place I would like to live in the future. I used acrylic paint, oil pastel, markers, and ink on acetate paper. Red and yellow are my favorite colors so I used those two primarily to design my dream house. And yes, I want to sleep in a bed that I have to climb up and down every time with a huge snake rug on the floor.

I am a student at School of Visual Arts in New York City and my major is Illustration. I was born in South Korea and grew up mostly in Seoul and have lived in England and the United States. Growing up, I always had a passion for drawing, painting, and storytelling which naturally led me to pursue art.

"Monster Mayhem" was my first attempt at illustrating children's books. I designed two monsters, the Kitchen monster and the Bathroom monster with cooking utensils and cleaning products. These two characters scare a little boy who wakes up one night to have a glass of water and use the bathroom. The child believes that the two were made up in his imagination but the next day he finds the remains of the monsters in the hallway.

My art includes illustration, graphic design, comics, animation, paintings, drawings, and sculpture. I am flexible in using digital and traditional mediums such as photoshop, illustrator, oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink, and colored pencils. Recently I have been making a lot of children's book illustration, editorial illustration, package design, and single-page comics.

"Autobiographical Mood Board" is a drawing that is very personal to me. The work represents who I am and my inner self. I made drawings with colored pencils, cut them out, and attached them onto a big fabric piece.
