Through vibrant color and gesture, I evoke graceful, poetic emotion in my acrylic paintings. I meld the body and nature to bring a spirituality to the surface. My art is a reflection of what I feel when I am exploring the natural world.

Georgia O’Keeffe, her strength of color, awareness of delicate things in nature, and strength of what it is to be a woman speak to me. Van Gogh and Picasso’s emotionally revealing paintings touch my soul and bleed into my own art. Bisa Butler’s vibrant sewn portraits are incredibly inspiring as well. I admire the discipline in each of these artists to be their own unique self and their drive to visually express human nature and the natural world around them. My work is feminine, sensual, and lyrical.
