I am a photographer from Munich, Germany, and only started to shoot on a more regular basis about three years ago. Since then, I have been experimenting with various photography types and styles, but in the end, I always gravitated towards landscape photography in a wider sense. This can mean either colour or monochrome photos, depending on what I think fits better to the scene I was shooting. However, I do not consider myself as a pure landscape photographer, but rather aim to incorporate some outdoor activity and travel elements in my photos.

That being said, I love to take shots that lean to the rather moody and gloomy side, preferably in the harsh landscapes of Northern Norway and the Alps. Along with this, I really like to be outside shooting during what most people would consider “bad” weather. In my opinion, these conditions are suited best to convey that sense of drama and epicness, at the same time feeling both small and empowered as a human being in this wonderful and still mysterious world, which I ideally would like to express with my photos.

Apart from that, I am engaged in several conservation projects and a strong proponent of responsible and eco-friendly landscape and nature photography.
