I'm Miguel Melleiro Junior, I'm 52 years old and I'm from Jundiaí - State of São Paulo - Brazil. I worked professionally as a product photographer for 10 years (2000 - 2010). In 2010 my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, so I decided to interrupt my professional career as a photographer to take care of my mother full time. Since I have time off once a month, I go out to photograph in cities near Jundiaí.

In April 2017 I began photographing in Paranapiacaba, and in just over a year I formed a portfolio of this small railway village with approximately 1000 inhabitants, founded in the 19th century by the English engineers of the English railway company São Paulo Railway.
