Urban Artery: Upcycling Accessory

ILSA YUMENG LI (zh: 李雨萌), a Chinese-born, US-based multi-award winning designer, researcher, and founder, explores the realm of interactive tangibles by uniquely combining her scientific and artistic backgrounds. With the guiding question, "Why not craft multi-sensory designs to celebrate humanity-centered experiences through innovative interfaces?", Ilsa creates cross-disciplinary work in mixed media and technology. Her work emphasizes seamless, tactile, and soft interactive interfaces, connecting humans across various dimensions, from spatial design to wearables, in decentralized, elastic, and anti-fragile forms. Through her art, Ilsa uncovers and showcases the beauty of SOFT interfaces that interact naturally and harmoniously with people.
