Raysa Santos is a Brazilian visual artist and photographer. She has a degree in Theater from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. (UFRGS). She develops her work in portrait, self-portrait and humanized photography. Currently, she is researching textile art, expanding the narrative and expressive possibilities on the path between embroidery and photography. She develops authorial projects and uses the intuition as a tool to propel ideas, depositing in her art her sensibility, her vision of the world and the creation of meanings.
The entrelinha(s) project arises from sensitivity, from the need to overflow, crossing borders that prevent us from being who we are. The artist, through self-portraits, works with psychological and internal fragments that the are exposed and brought forth, finding in photography and embroidery the means to express her feelings.
