Statement

We now live in a world where more than half of humanity lives in an urban environment, explore with my own artistical way this artificial environment created by, for and around humans, seemed to me natural.

Mainly visually educated by the cinema, my black and white photographs seems to be sometimes inspired by the codes of this medium, including mostly those of film noir. The execution of my urban artworks is a spontaneous exercise that is only dictated to me by the light and my feeling of the moment.

Almost never directly observed, my characters when they are present, are only lonely silhouettes, evanescent shadows or anonymous, fleeing the frame. This echoing to the recurring themes of my work which are loneliness, passage and absence.
