My name is Chris Toombes and I’m a street photographer better known as City Street Photos. I’m currently living and shooting on the streets of Calgary, Alberta, Canada but was originally from the UK. I emigrated to Canada in the summer of 2006, settling in Belleville, Ontario.

Not a hairdryer

I relocated out west to Calgary in the summer of 2017. Why do I love street photography so much? As famous photographer Diane Arbus once said “ I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them”.
